Can you see him?  There are gazillions of these little guys around here.  They are trapped and shot all the time, but their population is still very robust.  On this trip, we saw at least 6 or 7 different muskrat, all in about a 50 yard stretch of the river.  Sometimes we'll just sit quietly and watch them scurry and swim around.  We can get very close pretty easily without them going underwater or under cover because we have no noisy engine!
